The kitchen is an intersection of different trades. This also applies to the transfer of knowledge in the kitchen industry.
A large part of the knowledge transfer is carried out by suppliers “on the job”, so to speak.
The Swiss Kitchen Industry Association is responsible for significant additions in the areas of basic training (EFZ) and further training - including for career changers - as well as for subject areas that are not covered by the supplier industry.
This results in a coherent range of services for Swiss kitchen specialists.
The speaker, Stéphanie Keller Mattil, is herself a kitchen specialist and a member of the board of the Swiss Kitchen Industry Association and is responsible for the area of career + education.
