Date for swiss interior expo 2026 published
After a rousing start in 2024, the trade fair for furnishing and kitchen in Switzerland is entering its next edition

2025-02-13

Following the successful first edition, swiss interior expo will return to Bern from 9 to 11 November 2026. "Over 100 top exhibitors and enthusiastic feedback from trade visitors and companies have shown that we took the right step with the B2B event," says Michael Rambach, Managing Director and shareholder of organiser trendfairs GmbH. "That's why we're expanding the new platform and taking it to the next round in 2026." With its unique concept, the trade fair for the furnishing industry in Switzerland has thus established itself in record time as a central industry meeting point and is already meeting with high demand from companies and trade visitors for the next edition.

A strong foundation for the future: With high-calibre exhibitors from the kitchen and furnishing sectors, such as Bauformat, Carat, Der Kreis, Dinger Stone, Grohe, Häcker, Haier, Horst, Kettnaker, Laufen, Leu, Liebherr, Morath, Orea, Quooker, Rolf Benz, Schösswender, Schüller, SHD, SieMatic, Strasser, Suter (sponsor lebensraum), V-Zug, Venjakob, Willisau, Wimmer - to name but a few - as well as the wide range of specials and events, the first edition of swiss interior expo set new standards and generated enthusiastic feedback from everyone involved: "In line with our vision, einrichtenschweiz is committed to high-quality and passionate interior design in Switzerland. We see our mission in the networking of the furnishing industry. A trade fair serves precisely the purpose of offering the industry such a platform for networking and successful business. We are delighted that swiss interior expo is a trade fair that gives the industry the opportunity to prioritise networking as well as presenting new products and trends," says Walter Pretelli, Managing Director of einrichtenschweiz.

The strongest success factor proved to be the clever approach to the target groups, which enabled exhibitors to make contact with new business partners. The swiss interior expo is aimed specifically at decision-makers from trade, crafts, architecture, interior design and project development, mainly from Switzerland. The location of Bern also proved to be an excellent strategic choice, as it attracted visitors from all parts of the country.

Inspiring stage formats and innovative exhibition concepts
The "stage" remains a special highlight of the swiss interior expo. Next year, top-class speakers will once again provide valuable insights into current industry topics - from design trends and the circular economy to changes in the Swiss property market. As an integral part of swiss interior expo, it will provide even more exciting and enlightening moments: like the entire knowledge and networking platform, the "stage" and the other accompanying programme will also be expanded in 2026. The special show "lebensraum" will once again provide inspiration. The staged fusion of the kitchen, dining and living areas delighted visitors and exhibitors alike. The idea behind it is as simple as it is captivating: living has changed. Kitchens have become warmer and cosier, dining areas are no longer just for eating, sofas and lounge chairs have become relaxation zones. Cooking, communicating, celebrating, playing, reading, eating - all this and much more now takes place in the centre of the entire living space, in the "living space". In addition to inspiration for trade visitors, there is also attractive sales potential for the industry and trade.

Shaping the future of living
The swiss interior expo came at exactly the right time in 2024: "The presence of Swiss kitchen manufacturers is particularly important in these challenging times," emphasised Sandro Huber, Managing Director of Elbau Küchen. With new business and a look into the future of living, the swiss interior expo is already an indispensable event for the furnishing and kitchen industry in Switzerland - as Patrick Brunner, Managing Director of the Willisau Group, also commented: "As a traditional company with almost 100 years of experience, the trade fair offers us an ideal opportunity to present our high-quality tables and chairs to a wide audience and to gather inspiration for the living trends of the future in dialogue with experts and customers." His colleague Daniel Vila, Head of Marketing Switzerland, V-ZUG, agrees with him and emphasises the special Swiss unique selling point that could be seen everywhere at the trade fair: "V-ZUG brings innovative household appliances to the trade fair that impress with their innovation and Swiss quality. Functionality meets elegant design to take the home to a new level."

Save the date for 2026 now
With the second edition next year, swiss interior expo will further expand its position and once again bring together high-calibre exhibitors, trade visitors and industry experts. And those involved in the trade fair premiere are already looking forward to it: "A trade fair - focussed on the industry - in the usual feel-good atmosphere - represents an absolute and necessary added value on the Swiss market," says Sven Breitenmoser, Managing Director of Quooker Switzerland. And so, from 9 to 11 November 2026, Bern promises to once again become the hub for modern living - and to impress with innovations, knowledge transfer and networking at the highest level. Companies wishing to be part of this unique format can register from April 2025.
